Directions

Costa del Grillo is located in the municipality of Travo (PC) along the CAI path 101. We advise you to follow these directions and avoid ending up on a dirt track!

There are three easy ways to reach us:

• From Travo (10 min) drive up towards the Shepherds and the Pietra Parcellara. Pass through the small village of Chiosi di Bobbiano, then turn right when you reach the intersection with the sign for Costa del Grillo . Climb up to the ridge, follow the paved road passing through the village of Case Rotte. The first group of houses you come across on the left is Costa del Grillo, we have a sign on the road.
• From Rivergaro / Statto (20 min) go up towards Pigazzano and continue towards “the antennas/phone pilons” which are located at the top of the hill. Continue along the ridge until you reach Monticello. Turn left without leaving the ridge. After the signs for Zucca Uomo, Missano and then Pradello (do not follow) a little longer and the first place you will see is Costa del Grillo (you will see our Paddocks and the Arena on your right) we have a sign on the road.
• From Gazzola / Agazzano (15 min) continue towards Rezzanello, then Monticello and follow the ridge. After the signs for Zucca Uomo, Missano and then Pradello (do not follow) a little longer and the first place you will see is Costa del Grillo (you will see our Paddocks and the Arena on your right) we have a sign on the road.

If you come from Bobbio follow the directions from Travo (avoid the Caldarola pass, it is longer).

From South Piacenza follow the directions from Rivergaro.

From West Piacenza follow the directions from Gazzola / Agazzano; salso the same for those arriving from Val Tidone.

From Milan : Piacenza Ovest is the best exit now that the new bridge over the Trebbia river has been introduced, however the toll is more expensive than in Piacenza Sud…. so up to you.
